Singer Jon Bon Jovi and SNL’s Seth Meyers have been added to the long roster for the upcoming romantic comedy, “New Year’s Eve”, according to The Hollywood Reporter. German actor Til Schweiger (Inglorious Basterds) is also on board. Anna Faris has received an apology from New Zealand’s state tourism agency for attacking her credibility, accesshollywood.com is reporting. The agency questioned the ‘Yogi Bear’ actress’ reliability after she recently described New Zealand men as vulgar on George Lopez’s late-night TBS talk show, ‘Lopez Tonight.’ Faris told Lpez that when she was in the country, carloads of men yelled obscenities at her while she was walking home from shoots of the live-action movie. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is in final negotiations to return to television for Starz’s upcoming drama series ‘Magic City,’ Deadline.com is reporting. Morgan, who rose to fame after appearing on the first season of ‘Supernatural’ and the second season of ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ will play the lead in the new series, which will feature 10 episodes in its first season. ‘Magic City’ is set in the late 1950s and early 1960s in Miami, and tells the story of multiple mobsters, politicans and entertainers in the city’s first prominent hotel. Summit Entertainment is currently in talks to distribute the big screen adaptation of the controversial novel “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky, collider.com is reporting. The news comes after rumors began circulating in May that Emma Watson and ‘Percy Jackson & the Olympians’ actor Logan Lerman were signed to appear in the film.
