Director Cameron Romero is returning to his horror roots with his partners Ford Austin and BJ Hendricks to create the new film ‘Radical,’ Tactical Agression, LLC has announced via a press release. The “ripped-from-the-headlines” movie follows “three members of the American press who are being held hostage.” Their captor is seeking fame and recognition from the U.S. government for the crimes he committed in the Middle East.

Besides Austin and Hendricks, Tom Sizemore, Josh Carmichael and Shahe Assillian have also agreed to appear in ‘Radical.’ Austin, who is also set to produce the movie, said that when Romero called him to tell him about the idea for the film, “I wouldn’t hang up the phone until we had a clear plan about how to move forward fast enough.” Hendricks, who is also on board to produce the movie, said Romero’s “style is perfect for telling this kind of story because it deals with so many levels of wrong in such a claustrophobic environment.”

When speaking of ‘Radical,’ Romero said he was motivated to film it because “Sometimes you have to flex your creative side and not be afraid to tackle content or visuals that may be ‘too much’ for some to watch.” He also credits the recent political events in Egypt, saying they “have yet to be addressed by the entertainment industry.”
