Don Johnson Cast as Lead in NBC Pilot A Mann's World
Sunday, February 27th, 2011Veteran television actor Don Johnson may be returning to the small screen this fall, as he has been cast in the lead role in the new NBC pilot ‘A Mann’s World,’ www.entertainmentweekly.com is reporting. The drama follows a 50-something Beverly Hills hairdresser and salon owner, played by Johnson, who is being compared to Warren Beatty’s character in ‘Shampoo.’ He’s struggling to stay young and relevant, and is struggling to expand his business. ‘A Mann’s World’ is being produced by Warner Bros., and was created by ‘Sex and the City’ writer Michael Patrick King.
