Three additional actors have signed on to star alongside Amanda Seyfried in Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment’s new movie ‘Gone,’ including Emily Wickersham, Wes Bentley and Jennifer Carpenter, www.collider.com is reporting. The thriller will be helmed by Brazilian filmmaker Heitor Dhalia. The script, which was penned by ‘Fame’ screenwriter Allison Burnett, follows Seyfried’s character, a kidnap survivor, who tries to find the killer she believes abducted her sister.

‘Gone,’ which is believed to jump-start Seyfried’s action career, much like ‘Taken’ did for Liam Neeson in 2009, is set to begin shooting in April 2011. However, there’s no word yet what roles Wickersham (of ‘I Am Number Four’), Bentley (most recently seen in last summer’s ‘Jonah Hex’) and Carpenter (who stars on Showtime’s ‘Dexter’) will play.

Summit Entertainment will distribute ‘Gone’ in the U.S. Lakeshore Entertainment’s Tom Rosenberg and Garay Lucchesi will produce the movie with Sidney Kimmel, Chris Salvaterra and Dan Abrams of Sidney Kimmmel Entertainment.
