First there was “Stripperella”, and now there’s “The Governator”. Yes, true believers, Stan Lee, the genius behind the “Spider-Man” comic book and “Stripperella” is launching a new cartoon called, of course, “The Governator” starring who else but the Governator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The cartoon, which is expected to be out next year, is supposed to be a combination of all the things that makes Schwarznenegger a movie hero. “The word Governator combined two worlds: the world of politics and the movie world. And [this cartoon] brings everything together,” said Schwarzenegger to Entertainment Weekly. “It combines the governor, the Terminator, the bodybuilding world, the True Lies….”

The show will be, from the description in the article, a tour-de-force of delightful cheese. Not only does the Governator have an Arnold Cave and a kid sidekick (a 13-year-old computer whiz named Zeke Muckerberg), but he will also have a plethora of vehicles, “Super Suits” which allow him to do special tricks, and other stuff. He’ll also fight an organization called “Gangsters Imposters Racketeers Liars & Irredeemable Ex-cons, or, G.I.R.L.I.E. Men.

So there you have it. What do you think of this development? Do you like the idea of this cartoon? Do you think it’ll be a disaster? Sound off below.
