Thursday, March 24th, 2011

Nicholas Hoult answered fan questions yesterday on the official “X-Men: First Class” Facebook page. Some of the answers to questions were: When asked about what drew him to the role of Hank McCoy/Beast: “The fascinating part of the role for me was the chance to play Hank/Beast before and after his transformation. The combination of his intelligence and wit offset by his animalistic appearance was fun to play.” When asked about what he thought of the original Beast (played by Kelsey Grammer in “X3″): “I thought Kelsey Grammer did a fantastic job when he portrayed Beast, his charm and eloquence was something I wanted to try and emulate. However, in…

Box Office Predictions: The Sucker Punch Girls Storm The Box Office

Thursday, March 24th, 2011

We’ve only got two new wide releases this weekend, but they could be heavy hitters. Arriving in 3,100 theaters is the sequel to last year’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. Should it put up similar numbers, Rodrick Rules is looking at a $22.1 million opening. Now what about Zack Snyder? This guy is a bit all over the place. His last two March releases, Watchmen and 300, both had big openings, however, his latest film, the $80 million…

Chronicales of Narnia

Another Narnia movie in the works

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011

According to CinemaBlend, another “Narnia” film is in the works. This film will be based on the book, “The Magician’s Nephew”. Oddly enough, this film is being made even though the last film, “Voyage of the Dawn Treader”, was lukewarm at best at the box office. In any case, the performance warranted that another “Narnia” film is not what the American public really wanted. But, according to the article, the overseas stats for the film were gigantic, which prompted the decision to make another film. Also, the book “The Magician’s Nephew” is, according to the article, a prequel of sorts to the whole “Narnia” saga. So, what that means to…
