Beyonce has released her father, Matthew Knowles, from his duties as her manager, ending their professional relationship that started in the 1990s when she was in Destiny’s Child, CNN.com is reporting. But the 16-time Grammy winner said in a statement that she is only parting ways with her father on a business level. She added that she loves him and she’s grateful for the impact he made on her career. According to the press release, VH1 will premiere a new ten-episode reality series called “Mob Wives” Sunday, April 17. For a while, there have been rumors of a possible “Candyland” film (you know, a film about that game about a candy kingdom you used to play as a child). Well, now the film project has a screenwriter. According to The Hollywood Reporter, screenwriters Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, the writers for Dreamworks’ “Kung Fu Panda” and “Kung Fu Panda 2″, are now attached to writing the script for “Candyland”. Fresh from Relativity Media today is news that Armie Hammer (“The Social Network”) will play the prince in an untitled “Snow White” film. Hammer will join Oscar winner Julia Roberts, who will play the evil queen. According to the press release, pre-production has already started, and principal photography will start in May.
