Vintage Nickelodeon fans rejoice! “Rocko’s Modern Life” is being released on DVD by the Shout! Factory, according to CinemaBlend. What with Teen Nick bringing back “All That”, “Kenan and Kel” and more old Nick shows, I’m one step closer to realizing my childhood all over again! Thank goodness!

“Rocko’s Modern Life: Season One”, which will be in stores June 21, will be priced at $19.93 (which is alluding to the show’s premiere in 1993). No special features have been mentioned, but in the episodes, you’ll be able to relive your Nick childhood by hearing comedian Carlos Alazraqui, Tom Kenney (who currently voices SpongeBob on “SpongeBob SquarePants”) voice Rocko, Heffer, and more.

“Rocko”, which won a Daytime Emmy, tells the story of a wallaby who is living on his own with his dog, getting into adventures with his neighbor and best friend, Heffer and Filburt the turtle (voiced by Mr. Lawrence, who is also on “SpongeBob” as Plankton and Larry the Lobster).

Thank you, Shout! Factory, for putting out this crazy, surreal, awesome cartoon! What cartoons from your past do you want on DVD? Are you going to pick “Rocko” up when it becomes available? Make sure to sound off with your comments or cartoon flashbacks below in the comment section.
