“Two and a Half Men” co-creator Chuck Lorre has developed a new version of the lucrative CBS show without Charlie Sheen, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the article, Lorre has presented associates and “Men” co-star Jon Cryer a revised version of the show, which would give Cryer a significant part of the show. Also a new yet-to-be-cast character would take the place Charlie Sheen left when he was fired by Warner Brothers Television. According to the article, Warner Brothers has begun looking for an actor to fill the role.

However, Sheen has been working behind the scenes in order to get his job with CBS and Warner Brothers back. He has been trying to set up meetings and curry favor with the “Men” cast members in an effort to win support. But Warner Brothers has made it clear that they will not have Sheen back on the show, and Lorre won’t have him on either (if you’ll recall, Sheen made an anti-semitic comment about Lorre and has constantly talked negatively about the whole “Men” ordeal in his struggling “Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option” tour).
