The Tribeca Film Institute (TFI) has announced this year’s program award winners and grantees. Two filmmakers have been honored by the Tribeca All Access (TAA) Creative Promise Award; four directors won the Latin America Media Arts Fund; seven filmmakers were granted TAA alumni grants and fellowships; and four grantees will be supported by Insurgent Media for the first TFI Documentary Fund. In all, the winners were given $125,000 towards their projects. Country singer Sara Evans’ ex-husband Craig Schelske wants joint custody of their three children, as he’s claiming she brings them to parties when she’s on tour, TMZ is reporting. In court documents he filed on April 27, he said she also surrounds them with drugs and alcohol. In the documents he filed in Tennessee, Schelske added that he wants to “protect the children from the likelihood of substantial harm” during Evans’ upcoming tour, which starts next month.
