New ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ star Penelope Cruz wore black satin peep-toe Casadei heels as she walked the red carpet at the May 11 Moscow premiere of the third sequel in the series, ‘On Stranger Tides.’ The Academy Award-winning actress, who played Angelica in the action fantasy film, was accompanied on the carpet by her co-star Johnny Depp, and the movie’s producer, Jerry Bruckheimer.

Cruz matched the Casadei shoes with a black velvet embellished long sleeve Emilio Pucci Fall 2011 dress. The dress featured a high collar, a bow around the neck and a snowflakes design. Cruz wore the Casadei heels and Pucci dress as the temperature in Moscow during the premiere hit a low of 49 degrees.

Cruz is just one of several celebrities who wear Casadei shoes to public events. The shoes also appeal to such actresses as Angelina Jolie, Kate Hudson, Halle Berry and Drew Barrymore, because they’re known for their luxury, sophistication and glamour.
