Hot on the heels of the announcement that Transformers: Dark of the Moon will now open on Wednesday, June 29th instead of July 1st, comes a brand new 3D trailer. Of course we can’t show it to you in 3D here (not yet at least), but if you opt to check out Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in 3D, you can watch Optimus and the gang pop off the screen as they ravage some Decepticons.
While there are few differences between this trailer and the last, we do get some new footage. There’s a shot of Bumblee and Optimus taking a stroll through what looks to be a metallic wasteland about a quarter of the way through and a killer shot of Shia LaBeouf midair with Bumblee a little past the halfway point. There’s also some prime footage of a head-on collision, but otherwise, it’s basically a little rearranging topped off by that massive snake-like machine crushing the heck out a building.
Check it out for yourself below and don’t forget, the film is no longer hitting theaters on “7.1.11” as the trailer states. Transformers: Dark of the Moon arrives on Wednesday, June 29th.
