Two German X-Men: First Class Movie Clips

Fox Germany released two new German clips from the upcoming film “X-Men: First Class” by director Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall, Kick-Ass) and starring Jennifer Lawrence (The Beaver, Winter’s Bone), James McAvoy (Wanted 2, Gnomeo and Juliet), Michael Fassbender, January Jones, Rose Byrne and Kevin Bacon.

Synopsis: Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-MEN.

Magnetic Eye

Fox Abattoirs and Matthew Vaughn can keep their Bond style pseudo “Fox-Men” because it is definitely NOT the “First Class” X-Men from MARVEL COMICS.I don’t care how well acted, shot, directed or how well written, it is an alternate “what if ” re-imagining, which at best is a counterfeit film. It’s a shame the movie going public have been conned once again.Adaptations do tend to stray a little from the original source material but this movie has no resemblance to the books at all in either continuity, or characterization.It does not capture the essence of the books, it is a brand new template altogether that disrespects MARVEL COMICS and all the original writers and artists that made these characters so popular in the first place.
