‘Jackass’ cast member Ryan Dunn died on June 20, 2011 at 3 am EST when he was reportedly driving his 2007 Porsche on Pennsylvania’s Route 322 and careened over the road’s guardrail, TMZ is reporting. The car tumbled into the woods before it burst into flames.

Dunn’s body, along with the body of his passenger, suffered severe burns. Emergency responders were unable to immediately identify them, but police have since confirmed one of the bodies is Dunn’s. However, the identity of his passenger will be revealed after the autopsy results are released.

Although Chief Deputy Coroner David Garner would not officially confirm if Dunn was indeed the one driving the car when it crashed, he told Chester County’s Daily Local News that the Porsche was the only vehicle involved in the accident. Garner also didn’t confirm the cause of the accident. However, police released a press release saying “preliminary investigation revealed that speed may have been a contributing factor to the accident.”

Hours before his death, Dunn, who also appeared on ‘Viva La Bam’ and ‘Bam’s Unholy Union,’ tweeted a picture of himself and two friends drinking. However, the police report has listed the crash as an ‘Auto Accident’ instead of a DUI.

A photo of the crash was also posted on Twitter, apparently by the towing company. They showed the extent of the fire, but the picture was immediately taken down.
