Danny Pino and Kelli Giddish have been hired to replace Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay, respectively, in the upcoming 13th seson of ‘Law & Order: SVU,’ The New York Daily News is reporting. Martin Short has been hired to replace Dave Foley during the upcoming seventh season of the hit CBS comedy ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ Vulture is reporting. Foley appeared in the Season 6 finale as Marshall’s potential new boss at an environmental law firm. The show’s producers loved the character so much, they wanted Foley back; however, his sitcom pilot ‘How to Be a Gentleman’ was picked by CBS. Distribution Rights for Kevin Smith's Red State Picked Up by Lionsgate

Lionsgate has obtained the distribution rights to Kevin Smith’s upcoming thriller ‘Red State,’ ComingSoon is reporting. The entertainment company will distribute the controversial movie through Video-On-Demand (VOD), Subscription Video-On-Demand (SVOD), Electronic Sell-Through (EST) and television in the United States. Lionsgate’s marketing and distribution exectutive David Dinerstein will oversee the theatrical release of ‘Red State’ through Smith’s self-distribution label SModcast Pictures.
