Martin Short has been hired to replace Dave Foley during the upcoming seventh season of the hit CBS comedy ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ Vulture is reporting. Foley appeared in the Season 6 finale as Marshall’s potential new boss at an environmental law firm. The show’s producers loved the character so much, they wanted Foley back; however, his sitcom pilot ‘How to Be a Gentleman’ was picked by CBS. Cynthia Nixon will lead the main cast in the upcoming eight-hour miniseries ‘World Without End,’ the follow-up to ‘The Pillars of the Earth,’ Deadline is reporting. Two clips from George A. Romero’s “Deadtime Stories, Volume One” has been released. The two clips, “A Killing” and “Faith”, are part of a three 30-minute horror film anthology written by Jeff Monahan (“Lone Star”) and also directs alongside Michael Fischa and Matt Walsh.
