We get the first glimpse of Brad Pitt on location filming the new film “World War Z,” based on the popular novel of the same name by Max Brooks. “World War Z” is a novel told as an oral account of the zombie apocalypse. Brad Pitt plays the author of the book, Max Brooks, in this fictional account, as a novelist traveling the world recording stories of the zombie apocalypse. How post-modern?!
In these leaked photos, we get a look at dead bodies in an urban setting, not zombies yet, but we can use our imaginations. We also get a look at a military compound looking to contain this epidemic on an Israeli border.
These leaked photos look great! My interest in this movie has gone up quite a bit and the thought of Brad Pitt in a zombie movie just gets my excited. There is no release date yet but it’s slated to come out in theaters some time in 2012.
“World War Z” was written by J. Michael Straczynski and Matthew Michael Carnahan, and is directed by Marc Forster.
