Twentieth Century Fox has released some new concept art for “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” on the movie’s official Facebook page.

The pictures, which you can see here as well as below this post, show Caesar possibly consoling another ape (maybe it’s Lisa, the ape who was Caesar’s wife in “Battle for the Planet of the Apes”) as well as several looks of the facility in which the animal testing is done in the film.

Overall, the concept art for “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” provides a background look at the creation of the film and shows that the point behind the sets is to make it seem like this type of plot could happen in the real world right now in our time period, not sometime in the future. As far as sets go, the film looks like it’s going to be really grounded.

After taking a look at the pictures, give us your thoughts. Do you like the tone the movie has taken? How do you think “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” will measure up against “Conquest for the Planet of the Apes”? Sound off in the comments section below.
