How much fear can one game deliver? In the case of F.3.A.R (also called Fear 3) I discover that the third installment in the storyline of Alma and her sons “Point Man” and Paxton Fettel, doesn’t deliver the heart stopping stimulations of the first two games. The F.E.A.R. franchise is famous for random psychic interactions with nightmares crawling from pools of blood, and shadows running across corridors when you least expect them. What it lacks in namesake it makes up for with game play action and multiplayer content. The game comes from a different developer than the first two, Day 1 Studios, and released on June 21, 2011 in North…

According to MTV Geek, Rice has opened up about her new set of books, “The Wolf Gift” at the San Diego Comic Con. Famed ‘Jeopardy’ host Alex Trebek snapped his achilles tendon and injured his other leg this past Wednesday morning. The seventy-one year old Trebek suffered from a fall after attempting to snatch a burglar. Chasing the thief at a San Francisco hotel, the woman was trying to make off with cash and a bracelet given to the TV personality by his mother. According to several reports the long time host is now using crutches, but still managed to show up at Google Headquarters for the National Geographic World Championship held in Mountain View. Telling the Today Show about the incident (that sounds somewhat embarrassing!), Alex said that he “realized immediately that…

Funny thing; Taryn Manning’s brief description on her Twitter profile is “Yeah I’m in that movie and also on that show, and yep that’s me doing all that music n stuff too.” That very well might be one of the most accurate summaries on the site. In all seriousness, I’d like to bet the majority of you have seen Manning on the big screen, in a TV show or heard a Boomkat song before. Manning’s accomplished quite a bit over the years and shows no signs of slowing down, as her repertoire continues to grow. The latest edition to Manning’s resume? The movie The Perfect Age of Rock ‘n’ Roll,…

July’s going out with a bang as we’ve got three new wide releases on the way. Are they all going to put up big numbers? Probably not, but we are looking at three somewhat solid earners. The biggest of the bunch will undoubtedly be Cowboys & Aliens. With a total 3,750 screens and a star-studded cast, but no 3D, this one should come in under Green Lantern, but above Super 8 with about $50 million. According to Friends with Benefits, the comedy genre is in a bit of a lull and it looks as though Crazy, Stupid, Love will be sucked right in. Thanks to a bigger cast and more…
