Celebrity photographer Brian Smith and The Creative Coalition’s arts advocacy programs are pairing together to collaborate on a campaign to raise awareness of the role of arts in America. Their combined efforts will be featured in the new book “ART & SOUL: Stars Unite to Celebrate and Support the Arts”, which will be released on November 1, 2011 by Hearst Communications. The book will feature 123 portraits of such celebrities as Adrien Brody, Tim Daly, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Peet, Alyssa Milano and Samuel L. Jackson.

The main focus of “ART & SOUL” is to help art in America thrive and flourish. Robin Bronk, who leads The Creative Coalition’s arts advocacy programs, said the book provides “a wonderful way for all of the artists involved to give back and encourage future generations of creative artists.” A portion of the book’s profits will go towards supporting The Creative Coalition’s work.
