Rumors had been swirling a long time about Beyonce being pregnant, but now it’s confirmed!

Beyonce showed up at the MTV VMAs in a flowing orange gown and showing off her stomach. But the news of her being pregnant really hit home after she performed on the VMA stage, opening her magenta sequined jacket to show her belly, which looked like it was being held in by extremely fabulous maternity pants.

Once she did this, the crowd went bananas, including Kanye West, who congratulated her husband Jay Z in the audience.

According to CNN’s Marquee Blog, Beyonce was asked about the rumors on Piers Morgan Tonight. On the show, she said, “Only God knows” if a baby was on the way.

“I always said I’d have a baby at 30,” she said. “I’m 29. But I also said I was going to retire at 30. I’m not retiring…I feel like 30 is the ideal age, because you’re mature enough to know who you are and have your boundaries and your standards and not be afraid of too polite, but young enough enough to be a young woman…I’m so looking forward to it.”

Beyonce and Jay-Z, who were married in 2008, have been an item since 2002.
