According to The Hollywood Reporter Jonah Hill has signed on to appear in the comedy ‘Neighborhood Watch’. The 2012 movie comes from script writers Seth Rogen (Paul) and Evan Goldberg (Pineapple Express), and is set to be directed by a Akiva Schaffer of Saturday Night Live fame. Aside from toting some big name talents behind the scenes, the flick has also landed funnyman Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, and actress Rosemary DeWitt from United States of Tara.

‘Neighborhood Watch’ will center on a group of fathers who decided to put together a fake neighborhood watch program in order to escape their wives and their kids to do whatever they want. Unfortunately an actual alien plot will ruin their plans, forcing them to deal with what lays ahead. Per Filmofilia, Jonah Hill has been tapped to play Vince Vaughn’s right-hand man, a guy who projects himself as something of a badass, lying about his not so exiting past.

‘Neighborhood Watch’ is scheduled to begin filming in Georgia this fall. Meanwhile, Jonah Hill, who just worked alongside Brad Pitt in Moneyball is also attached to The Sitter, 21 Jump Street, Good Time Gang and How to Train Your Dragon 2. Looks like Hill’s schedule will be keeping him busy well into 2014.
