At 84 years old, Jerry Stiller is still going strong. Married for more than 56 years to fellow performer Anne Meara, he’s entered the twilight of a long and varied show business career with a uniquely entertaining sort of feisty grace. In his latest movie, the London-set comedy “Swinging With the Finkels,” he plays grandfather to Mandy Moore, whose marriage with architect Martin Freeman is suffering from a sort of sexual drift. The remake of “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” is supposed to be a scary film about a girl who tries to warn her family that their house is haunted, but for critics and audience members alike, the movie wasn’t scary at all. According to Rotten Tomatoes, the film received a 59% rotten from critics and an even lower 50% from audiences. The general critical consensus is that the film is atmospheric and haunting in the beginning, but the overall film doesn’t give the scares of its original. Blink-182 haven’t released an album in quite sometime but the wait is over with the release of their new album “Neighborhoods”.
