Scarlett Johannnson has asked the FBI to investigate the release of nude photos allegedly hacked from her phone, Fox News is reporting. An agency official has confirmed that it’s aware of the alleged incident and will be looking into the situation to see if it needs to open an investigation.
Two explicit photos showing someone resembling the ‘We Bought a Zoo’ star were leaked on-line. One picture, which was posted on Buzzfeed and was seemingly taken by the actress, shows Johansson in nothing but a towel. Her partially exposed body was reflected in a mirror. The other photo shows her lying down, with her left breast exposed.
The news of the alleged hacking into Johansson’s phone comes after the FBI has reportedly been investigating the hacking of as many as 50 celebrities’ email accounts. Vanessa Hudgens and Jessica Alba have been among the latest actresses who saw multiple private photos of themselves released to the media.
The investigation into Johansson’s alleged hacking also comes after Blake Lively denied rumors earlier this summer that she appeared nude in photos. Her rep threatened to sue any website that published the alleged fake pictures.
