If you love “The Phantom of the Opera,” this will be some good news for you.

According to the Huffington Post, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the cult-classic musical, the producers of the show will broadcast a very special performance of “Phantom” live from London’s Royal Albert Hall to movie theaters in America, Europe, the UK, Japan and Australia. The live performance will air Oct. 2, and the re-broadcasts will air Oct. 5, 6 and 11.

Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo from the “Phantom” sequel “Love Never Dies” will reunite for the special broadcast, and more than 200 original and current “Phantom” cast members are listed to make appearances.

Fathom Events have the full rundown on the event, as well as downloadable lists of the participating theaters.

This event sounds like it could be as cool as “The Lion King” coming back to theaters. It’s going to be a highly-anticipated, coveted event, to be sure.
