Deadline has opened their Deadline Hollywood Game on Facebook for all to play! Described as a “wryly entertaining and realistic peek into the cut throat business of Hollywood,” the game allows players to “have” a Hollywood career and make movies with friends while trying to climb their way to the top in order to become a Hollywood mogul. The game also incorporates real-time headlines into the game’s dashboard, which influences what projects and activities the players will participate in as well as their reputations. The more you stay on the cusp of Hollywood news, the better you’ll do in the game. (One way of staying on top is reading Deadline.com!)

Nikki Finke, veteran journalist and founder Deadline.com said, “The Deadline Hollywood Game will allow experienced gamers, real-life Hollywood players, movie fans, and casual users to truly experience the grit, intrigue, and rivalry of the Hollywood industry. And just like the real town, this game is not for every schmo–only the strongest will survive.”
