According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wanted writers Derek Haas and Michael Brandt have been hired on to pen the script for the delayed second installment by Universal. The duo previously created the 2008 original that starred Angelina Jolie as a lethal assassin, with Morgan Freeman her superior and James McAvoy, the new and unwilling apprentice that gets caught up in a secret society. IFC Films has announced that Colin Farrell and Keira Knightley will star in “London Boulevard,” a “stylish gangster thriller” directed by Oscar-winning screenwriter of “The Departed,” William Monahan.
