Actress Kirsten Dunst is now officially a German citizen. The twenty-nine year old star, who is best known for her roles in the Spider Man franchise and Get Over It, announced that she is “now a real international lady,” according to a German tabloid B.Z, making her a dual citizen. She also added that she can now “film in Europe without a problem.” The actress, who says she wants to act in a German movie, also revealed that she “would prefer to buy an apartment in Berlin. It’s such a young city, and right now so much is happening in Berlin.” Will Dunst be making a move? Not for a while at least. The performer has a long list of movies in the works, but it does sound like she will be spending more time in Germany.
Dunst, who reportedly speaks German, “at a child’s level,” is currently in Berlin at the moment where she is promoting her latest film Melancholia under the direction of Lars von Trier. The drama follows “two sisters, who find their already strained relationship challenged as a mysterious new planet threatens to collide into the Earth.” Dunst stars alongside actress Charlotte Gainsbourg and ’24′ star Kiefer Sutherland. She is also attached to the forthcoming movie ‘Upside Down’ as the character Eve, the 2012 flick ‘Bachelorette’ in the role of Regan, as well as ‘Charm’ and ‘On the Road’ as Camille.
