Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. announced that the Detroit duo’s forthcoming remix EP, “My Love Is Easy: Remixes Pt. 2” will drop on November 15th. The second installment is a follow-up to “My Love Is Easy: Remixes Pt. 1” and features remixes by Memory Tapes, Tiger & Woods, Pictureplane and more. Pt. 2 also includes original tracks from their debut LP, “It’s A Corporate World”. Click here and check out the Tiger & Woods remix of “Simple Girl” off the upcoming album. The reworked track adds a soul edge to the indie rock tune. While on the “Simple Girl” subject, you can also watch the track’s video. As corny as it sounds, this video is adorable and represents the common teenage crush on the girl next door.
“My Love Is Easy: Remixes Pt. 2” will hit stores just as the band finishes their year on the road. Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. completed a second headlining tour, includes a sold-out NYC show, a summer festival circuit through Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and Philadelphia’s Popped! Festival and a set of recent European performances. Busy times to be a member of Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., but when good music is delivered, the hectic schedule is well worth it.
