Piers Morgan was, until this week, the face of both NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight.” Now that Morgan has stated that he’s leaving “Talent,” tweeting, “Turned out that juggling’s harder than it looks, so I’m going to focus on CNN,” news has surfaced that a new judge may have been found.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, shock jock Howard Stern is currently in talks to replace Piers as a judge on the popular talent show. According to the article, Stern is a huge fan of the show and is enthusiastic about being involved with the show.

This would be great for NBC–not only does Stern have a large following on his satellite radio show and from his years on standard radio, but he himself is practically tailor-made for this type of show, which can sometimes be a trainwreck on television–Stern’s own radio show revels in all things outrageous and would probably make a lot of great fodder for him and longtime co-host Robin Quivers to talk about.
