New Snow White And The Huntsman Stills Give Mirror Mirror A Run For Its Money

CinemaBlend has 35 new stills from Kristen Stewart’s new film, “Snow White and the Huntsman.” The stills show the artistic quality the film is going to have, but it also shows that “Mirror, Mirror,” the rival “Snow White” film being directed by Tarsem, will have its hands full with this film. “Snow White and the Huntsman” stars Chris Hemsworth, Ian McShane, Toby Jones, Nick Frost, Ray Winstone, Sam Claflin, Bob Hoskins, Eddie Marsan and Lily Cole.

One way “Mirror, Mirror” is going to have to battle hard against “Snow White and the Huntsman” is in the artistic direction. Even though “Snow White” isn’t being directed by Tarsem (it’s being directed by Rupert Sanders), many parts of the film, at least, according to the pictures, look like a Tarsem movie or a Tarsem/Guillermo del Toro movie, what with The Evil Queen (played by Charlize Theron) dipping into some nasty white stuff (I assume to keep her looking young), a gold circle that later seems like it becomes a person, and Snow White (Stewart) approaching some kind of troll-looking thing. Overall, it looks like it’s going to be a super-atmospheric film.
