Accepting an invite to the annual Marine Corps Ball this past July, singer Justin Timberlake made his way to the big event in Washington D.C. last night on the arm of Corporal Kelsey De Santis. Asking the Sexy Back star by video months ago, the news broke right around the time Justin Timberlake was promoting his new movie Friends With Benefits alongside co-star Mile Kunis, who along with Golden Girls star Betty White was also invited by a Marine.

Before attending the Marine Corps Ball Justin Timberlake’s date apparently challenged the singer to a dance-off. According to a recent interview J.T.’s date said – “I honestly don’t think he’ll be able to keep up with my group of people… I don’t think he’ll be able to keep up with us,” adding that she has “multiple signature moves,” one of which is named “The Dougie.” The marine also said in her interview that she is single. “Of course, I’m single! I don’t know [if a kiss will happen.] I guess that’s all up to J.T. and what his plans are. I would never force anything upon him or anything like that!”

Per a photo from a TMZ source, Timberlake did show up and posed for pictures with a few guests. As for the dance-off, no news about the possible competition has been reported.
