Here’s one thing Lady Gaga has yet to do–age herself!
Katy Perry puts on the prosthetics and wig in order to become herself as an old woman in her new music video, “The One That Got Away.” The synopsis of the video, as The Huffington Post reports, involves an older Perry reflecting on her partying lifestyle she led as a younger woman and how she might have let the man of her dreams slip through her fingers.
Perry is wearing a white wig and a matching dress, being with her husband in their home. I’m assuming the old Perry is in the 21st century, because it seems like the younger Perry storyline is set in vaguely in the 1960s or sometime in the 20th century. Through the video, she thinks back to her past and the boyfriend that still lingers on her mind, played by Diego Luna (great casting call!).
The makeup done on Perry is fantastic, really. She looks like a classy elder woman, which is awesome. Let’s see Lady Gaga take on the elder look!
