Kim Kardashian has hired famed lawyer Marty Singer to silence one of her ex-publicists, Jonathan Jaxson, who is claiming her wedding was staged, TMZ is reporting. Jaxson, who worked for the reality star between 2007 and 2009, has been on a media tour, stating he knows her marriage to Kris Humphries was a hoax.

When appearing on ‘Good Day L.A.’ on November 11, 2011, Jaxson said it was obvious the wedding was staged, as E! had contracts to film the entire wedding. He added that everything was written down, even though Kardashian had doubts about marrying Humprhries before walking down the aisle. She knew weeks before the ceremony, as she never got over her ex, Reggie Bush, Jaxson also said.

Kardashian hired Singer to stop Jaxson from talking, as she feels his accusations are ruining her reputation. She also doesn’t understand how he can talk about her personal life, as she says they only worked briefly together on a blog years ago, and she barely remembers him. She also said she hasn’t spoken to him in years, and made him sign a confidentiality agreement, which she feels he’s violating.

Singer has submitted papers to a private arbitration to silence Jaxson. Kardashian is looking for a minimum of $200,000 in damages, as she claims he has damaged her reputation with his defamatory statements. However, Jaxson said he never signed a confidentiality agreement with the reality star. “I have an agreement in my possession that does not have either parties’ signature on it,” he added.
