After the news went public that Brad Pitt announced he wanted to retire in three years, the actor has now said that he didn’t intend on giving a set date, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
According to the site, Pitt told reporters Tuesday that his plans to retire are indefinite.
“I wasn’t putting an exact deadline on my [acting] expiration date but I just see it coming and I do have an interest in the producing side,” he said while promoting his film “Moneyball” in Korea. “I’m interested in a mixed bunch about complex stories that might have difficulty getting made in the current system or getting behind the talent they might be needing.”
He also spoke more on how he is highly interested in getting rid of the lines that stop international film involvement.
You can read the full story here at The Hollywood Reporter. I’m sure Pitt might really retire when he actually turns 50, but it’s not a bad age to retire, if one was to get out of the acting game. However, he seems more like the Clint Eastwood-type who will eventually get into directing along with producing.
