A peek into the next episode shows Elam (Common) getting served some cruel racist jeers and taunts as he tries to give his patronage to a saloon. Also available for you to check out are some “Inside ‘Hell on Wheels’” videos that give you the inside scoop on Pawnee Killer (Gerald Auger), Joseph Black Moon (Eddie Spears) and the McGinnes Brothers (Ben Esler and Phil Burke)

“Hell on Wheels” is a gritty take on the Western genre that follows the story of Cullen Bohannan (Anson Mount), a former confederate soldier who is on the rampage for vengeance. His search has led him to the construction of the first transcontinental railroad by Union Pacific. One of the great things about the show is how non-patronizing it is to the audience. However, because it is realistic version of the Western, those who are squeamish might want to prepare themselves.
