“21 Jump Street” star Channing Tatum will host a virtual theatrical screening of “The Eagle,” featured by Constellation November 17.

Constellation’s CEO James Lawler and co-founder Reid Carolin have announced the launch of the service, which is an online movie theater where audiences can purchase tickets and watch films and special events at certain showtimes. An initial schedule of films has also been released, including the screening of “The Eagle” by Focus Features. Other films scheduled to be shown include award-winning documentaries “The Carrier” and “Bombay Beach.”

According to the press release, Tatum said of the event, “Hosting a film on Constellation brought me closer to the audience than ever before. Beyond being an incredibly fun way to watch movies, it delivered an experience that is, in many ways, far richer and more personal than a physical theater.”

Other VIP guests expected to show at later screenings include Albert Maysles for the screening of “Grey Gardens” and musician Jack Johnson for the documentary “Bag It.” All VIP guests are available live to interact with the audience via webcam after the screening of the film they happen to be hosting.

Make sure to tune into the virtual screening November 17 at 8 p.m. ET. And if you have fun at this screening, make sure to tune into the screening of “Bag It” November 20 at 8 p.m. ET.
