The Huffington Post wrote that fan favorite Joss Whedon might be ready to get back into the world of “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.”

According to the site, Yahoo! Movies interviewed Whedon about the upcoming “Avengers” movie and gave a bit of insight into the possibility of a new “Dr. Horrible” story.

“We have been working on that for a while,” said Whedon to Yahoo! “It’s been hard, because we all have jobs, and some of them are extremely taxing. But we have had a vision of the thing for a while, we have been working on it, we have a bunch of songs and a few scenes. We need a little free time and right now that’s plenty hard to come by.”

It would be great to get a sequel to “Dr. Horrible,” since the ending was a cliffhanger. However, as it stands, the film’s quite awesome on its own.

“Dr. Horrible” is a web mini series that stars Neil Patrick Harris in the title role. Nathan Fillion plays Captain Hammer, and Felicia Day plays Penny, the love interest of both Dr. Horrible and Captain Hammer.
