Rihanna was recently listed on ShockYa’s “Top 10 Most Scandalous Celebrities” list, so it’s not surprise that the singer would make headlines again for scandalous behavior.

According to MTV and The Telegraph, Rihanna offended many people in the audience in the U.K. and France with her performance on “The X Factor UK” and her music video, “We Found Love.”

Her outfit–which was a preppy plaid dress– wasn’t the problem, it was her shoes. Her punk shoes with writing written on them had one phrase that made people very angry. The phrase in question–“F— Off.”

According to the spokesperson for the show, there were no close-ups of the shoes. “We believe the performance was suitable,” said the spokesperson told The Sun.

Also according to MTV and Pressparty, Rihanna’s music video “We Found Love” has offended some of France’s citizens. According to the sites, the video has been banned from being played before 10 p.m. According to the sites, The Officials at the Supreme Audiovisual Council of France have said the video is inappropriate for viewing before 10 p.m. because of the video’s inclusion of sex, domestic violence and drug use.

The director of the video, Melina Matsoukas, said the video was not really about domestic violence. “It’s really just about being toxic, and they’re on this drug trip and that definitely plays a part, but I think it’s also about being triumphant over those weaknesses, and she leaves him,” she said to MTV News.

Rihanna’s new album, “Talk That Talk,” comes out this week.
