Just when you thought that Kim Kardashian was facing a mountain of publicity rehabilitation due to her stint at being married, here comes the other side of the story about her and Kris Humphries’ 72-day marriage.

US Weekly has labeled Humphries as “the husband from Hell.” According to the magazine as well as The Huffington Post, sources close to the Kardashian family have said that Humphries was horrible to Kardashian. “He belittled her in front of people,” said one source to US Weekly. “He’d call her stupid. It was truly sickening.”

The source also said Humphries tried to control Kardashian by “bringing her down.” “He would say truly terrible things,” the source said. “One time, he said she had no talent and her fame wouldn’t last.” The source also said that he called her “fat ass.”

That’s verbal abuse in my book. If this is true, no wonder Kardashian got a quick divorce. (But why did she go through and marry him if he was talking like this in the first place?) You can read more about this in the newest edition of Us Weekly, which will be out Wednesday.
