The LAPD is looking to question Johnny Depp after his bodyguards allegedly assaulted a disabled woman on December 2, 2011, TMZ is reporting. Law enforcement officials are making attempts to interview ‘The Rum Diaries’ star and his bodyguards about the report.

The woman who filed the report, 52-year-old Robyn Ecker, made the official complaint after the Iggy Pop concert at the Palladium in Los Angeles. She bought her husband $600 tickets to the show for his birthday, and Depp was seating right next to her, surrounded by bodyguards.

Ecker stated she was minding her own business when she accidentally danced too close to the ‘Dark Shadows’ actor and his table. She added that Depp’s bodyguards immediately tackled her, grabbed her by the wrists and wrestled her to the ground. In the commotion, she said she was seriously injured, and even had to go to the hospital for an exam.

Ecker’s assistant told TMZ that she and her friends were drinking heavily during the concert. LAPD officials added that she appeared drunk when she made the report. However, Depp’s rep has not yet publicly responded to the report or the alleged incident.
