“Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol” has had a splashy debut overseas! The film, based on the popular television series by Bruce Geller and starring Tom Cruise, Paula Patton, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Josh Holloway, Michael Nyqvist, Vladimir Mashkov, Léa Seydoux and Anil Kapoor, has premiered in Korea, Japan, Mumbai and Australia. You can view some of the pictures from the various premieres below the post.

Also below is a featurette featuring the director of “Ghost Protocol,” Brad Bird discussing what it was like to shoot in IMAX.

“Ghost Protocol” sees Cruise reprise the character of Ethan Hunt, who, along with his team, has to clear his agency’s reputation:

“Blamed for the terrorist bombing of the Kremlin, IMF operative Ethan Hunt is disavowed along with the rest of the agency when the President initiates “Ghost Protocol”. Left without any resources or backup, Ethan must find a way to clear his agency’s name and prevent another attack. To complicate matters further, Ethan is forced to embark on this mission with a team of fellow IMF fugitives whose personal motives he does not fully know.”

The film is produced by both Tom Cruise and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions. Also producing is Bryan Burk.
