Lindsay Lohan had an emotional break-down after her Chanel purse was stolen from a house party in Hawaii, as she was afraid she would go back to jail as a result, TMZ is reporting. The ‘Machete’ actress was worried she would be stranded in Hawaii without her ID, which was in her purse, forcing her to miss her court date in L.A. on December 14, 2011. If she did miss the court date, she could have potentially had her probation revoked, and be sent back to jail.
After discovering her purse was missing, Lohan said “I will f**king kill someone if I even have to get questioned (or get sent to) jail for a year.” She added that her father, Michael Lohan, would kill her.
But Lohan’s purse, passport and court documents permitting her to travel were eventually returned after police searched the house. She reportedly also stayed hours after the police left, searching for her belongings. After one of Lohan’s friends questioned one of the guests at the party, he denied taking the purse. However, he showed up several minutes later with it, claiming he found it on the street.
While Lohan’s passport and court documents were in the purse, her $10,000 cash was still missing. However, she was so happy to have her belongings back that she didn’t ask any questions of what happened to them.
