Gabriel Aubry, the father of Halle Berry’s three-year-old daughter Nahla, is being investigated for criminal child endangerment and battery, TMZ is reporting. The investigation comes after an incident in which he allegedly pushed his nanny into a door while she holding Nahla in herr arms.
Aubry was supposed to take Nahla to school on January 18, 2012, but decided to keep her home instead. The nanny, who works for both Aubry and the Academy Award-winning actress, went to pick Nahla up from school, where she was told the girl didn’t go in that day.
The nanny then went to Aubry’s home, where she found Nahla. She picked his daughter up, and began to question why he didn’t bring Nahla to school that day. That’s when he allegedly went into a rage, saying “You’re the f**king nanny. Who do you think you are? You are a nobody. You don’t need to f**king know anything,” before shoving her into the door.
The nanny then filed a police report, claiming she was injured during the assault. As a result, law enforcement officers are investigating Aubry for misdemeanor child endangerment and misdemeanor battery. Child protective services have also reportedly launched an endangerment investigation. While Berry and Aubry have both refused to publicly comment on the case, he’s believed to be headed to court to secure legal protection for Nahla.
