Movies On Demand is celebrating the movie awards season with a cool contest! The contest, called “Winning Movie Moments Starring…You!” is simple to enter and the grand prize is something every movie fan would love to have–a 55″ 3D HDTV!
To enter the contest, all you have to do is send in a video of yourself re-enacting a famous line from an award-winning movie. You can choose your famous line from a selection listed on the website, but to give you an idea, the movies available to choose from include “Silence of the Lambs,” “Annie Hall,” “Brokeback Mountain,” Erin Brockovich,” “Gone with The Wind,” “Casablanca,” “Ghost,” “Godfather,” “There Will Be Blood” and “Forrest Gump.”
The entry period for this contest lasts until Feb. 15 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Ten finalists will be chosen from the submissions Feb. 16 through Feb. 17, and after the 10 finalists have been decided, the public gets to vote on their favorite submission. The fan voting will take place between Feb. 18-Feb. 26. Only one vote per person/computer/email address will be allowed each day on each separate website, and to vote, make sure to go to www.facebook.com/moviesondemand.
