For the longest, rumors have been circling around the idea of Liam Neeson reprising his “Batman Begins” role of Ra’s Al Ghul. Finally, the rumors have been confirmed–Neeson is playing a role in “The Dark Knight Rises.”

According to Comic Book Movie, Neeson has told Showbizspy, “I can tell you nothing about ‘Dark Night Rises,’ seriously. I was on set for maybe an hour-and-a-half and the director didn’t tell me anything of what it’s about. So I’m being very honest when I say I have no idea what’s going to happen.”

So there it is–Neeson is in “The Dark Knight Rises,” presumably reprising his role as Ra’s. Makes sense, since Joey King has recently told the press she is playing young Talia Al Ghul. However, I thought Liam Neeson’s involvement was common knowledge now. Maybe it’s because we see the set picture of what could be perceived as the Lazaraus Pit, but I thought that Neeson’s involvement was long since established. Maybe it’s just me.

Also, if Ra’s is back, then this film is going to be chock full of villains and other less-than-savory people. This movie is really going to go out with a bang.
