Tom Hanks is slated to present at the 84th Annual Academy Awards ceremony, telecast producers Brian grazer and Don Mischer have confirmed. The two-time Oscar-winning actor, who is a governor of the Academy, will join previously announced presenters Jennifer Lopez and the cast of ‘Bridesmaids,’ including first-time nominees Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, and Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper.
The 84th Annual Academy Awards, which will honor outstanding film achievements of 2011, will be held on Sunday, Fbruary 26, 2012 from the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center. It will be televised live on ABC to more than 225 countries worldwide.
