Angelina Jolie has been added to the list of presenters at the 84th annual Academy Awards, telecast producers Brian Grazer and Don Mischer have confirmed. The Oscar winner, who made her directorial and writing debut this year with ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey,’ joins already announced presenters Halle Berry, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lopez and the Academy Award-nominated cast of ‘Bridesmaids.’
The 84th Academy Awards, which will honor film achievements from 2011, will be telecast live on ABC on Sunday, February 26 at 8:30 pm EST/5:30 PST. It will be held at the Kodak Theatre from the Hollywood & Highland Center in Los Angeles, and be broadcast in more than 225 countries.
