I’ll be honest and say that it’s a little weird writing about happy news concerning the Grammys what with the sudden death of Whitney Houston, but Taylor Swift is set to perform their single for “The Hunger Games,” “Safe and Sound.”

According to hungergamesmovie.org, The Civil Wars said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal how the collaboration came about. “How that happened is we were out on the West Coast touring,” they said. “We had already worked on a song with T Bone Burnett on an original song for that soundtrack. Taylor had become a fan of ours and kept in touch. When they found out we were close by and she and T Bone were getting ready to write a song for ‘The Hunger Games’ they decided to give us a call and see if we wanted to do it with them, which worked out pretty well.”

Also, CNN, The Hollywood Reporter and various other sources are reporting that Jennifer Hudson and Chaka Khan are going to be a part of the tribute for Whitney Houston that will take place at the Grammys.

This is going to be an intense Grammys this year. What are you expecting to see tonight? Give your opinions below.
