Richard Grieco, the actor who portrayed Officer Dennis Booker on the ’21 Jump Street’ series, said he will be involved in the sequel to the new hit film based on the show, TMZ is reporting. While the movie featured Johnny Depp as his character from the series, Tom Hanson, in a cameo, Grieco claims he wasn’t asked by producers to appear in the movie.
While at he Pantages Theater in L.A. last night, Grieco said the producers of the Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum film are trying to make things right. They have asked him to reprise his character in the sequel to make up for the oversight.
