The Burglar Bunch defendant on trial for breaking in to Paris Hilton’s house, Roy Lopez, Jr., wants to know the salaries for all the actors, consultants and staff on the upcoming film ‘Bling Ring,’ TMZ is reporting. Lopez’s lawyer, David Diamond, has subpoenaed the payroll records for the movie, as his client wants to know how much Emma Watson and the other actors are making for the movie about the crime spree.
However, Diamond wants to specifically know the consultants’ salaries, including some members of the Burglar Bunch and the investigator who cracked the case. He wants to be able to impeach their credibility if they later testify against Lopez. Diamond is set to argue that ‘Bling Ring’ compromises the prosecution’s case, because witnesses in Lopez’s trial will have a financial motive to dramatize the alleged crimes.
